Is it normal for armpits to smell at end of day?

Ok, i'm not a dirty sod as i do bath every evening. But i was just wondering if it's normal for armpits to smell real bad at the end of each day, especially if it's been hot and i've been working? I'm real paranoid when it comes to body smell. Do my armpits smell more than every other persons on the planet?
