Why does it hurt to pee?

OK my girlfriend and i had , and we used condoms that were lubricated, the next day she told me it hurts her to pee. She said that before she would have the same pain to pee when she was young, but this time is worse. Before it used to be UTI. Is there a reason to this, is this related to us having ? Is there anything she can do before going to a doctor?
