The burden of proof is on atheists?

Atheists keep saying that the burden of proof is on Christians. Incorrect. Christianity is the accepted status quo so the burden of proof is on atheists. If they want to challenge the majority then the burden of proof is on them. Unfortunately they have yet to prove God is not real.
