Does my 55 ASVAB score have anything to do with me being able to take the DLAB, or be a linguist in the NAVY?

I want to be a Linguist, but I got a mediocre ASVAB score, will that tarnish my chances of becoming a Linguist. If i Were to take the DLAB and do well, would I be able to be a Linguist anyways?
